The Death of Journalism

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. -First Amendment to the Constitution

Since November 8, 2016, the world as we knew it was literally, ethically and morally turned upside down. Due to the narcissism of the current president things are only getting worse.

It was reported by Brian Stelter of CNN on November 13, 2018, a lawsuit was filed by CNN chief white house correspondent Jim Acosta against President Trump and his administration on denying him access to the white house and revoking the journalist privileges; violating his First and Fifth amendment rights.

The reasoning given per Trump Administration behind this latest tyrant is CNN Acosta bombards each press conference, not allowing the interns to have their say. When in all actuality, trump doesn’t want to be held accountable for the jaw dropping, shocking things he says.  The on the spot questions he has no time to think on, throws him off.   On October 2, 2018 American journalist of Saudi Arabia, Jamal Khashoggi went to pick up papers to marry his fiancé when he was targeted, attacked and horrendously murdered. There is audio recording.  The CIA discovered the hit was ordered personally by prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Trump appears to be in allegiance with terrorist, denying the CIA made any such assessment. Today on thanksgiving Trump left us with these chilling statements to ponder during a press conference, “The world is a very dangerous place.”

“We are not going to give up hundreds of billions of dollars and let china, Russia and everybody have them.”  Video footage was reported by John Berman of CNN.

My take away from this is, there is no longer a race war, but a holy war. Trump is an abomination of the white house. A tyrant that will scorch the pages of history. We as a people and journalist must stand up and fight for our freedom of speech and due process, there is a disrespect of the people in general.

A price has been placed on the value of our human life.  John Acosta got his press pass back after being humiliated, targeted and having to fight for that right, but Journalist Jamal Khashoggi cannot get his life back.

Trump Nation is attempting to monopolize the media and the first take down on his list is CNN, then the rest are expected to fall in line. The war is no longer on terrorist, he is enabling them, the war is on Americans.
