In the recent height of the Black Lives Matter movement and our people fighting for racial equality, Solange’s latest EP, A Seat at the Table has given us life. We salute Solange for standing up and using her celebrity platform to spread the message of social justice.

Throughout A Seat at the Table, there are skit interludes which lead into the next song. Solange collaborated with some ol’ skool hip hop icons to bring the skits to life, such as Master P. As you listen to the album all the way through, it is one that you would want to call up your most vocal and political friends to have some insightful and intellectual conversations.

In addition to the justice aspect of the album, it can also be listened while at a nice jazz or Neo-Soul spot while sipping on a glass of wine while groovin’ with the boo.
