Poetry Corner: What Happened?

A thing described to be so liberating and wholesome,

Very few achieve it all by their lonesome.

A lot of character, strength, courage, poise,

A creative and fighting spirit,

The major attribute lack of fear.

Many have came before carried the fight during their Civil Rights tour,

But nothing of gain remains more of the same unjust system that claims truth and deliberates freedom.

We lost the passion and fight,

Some may say dropped the torch,

Well as of today no longer stand up and jump off the porch,

Only one thing is clear

Their despicable disregard for our deceased no more crying tears.
