Forced into slavery,

A horrific servitude for over 400 years.

A great people damned for no reason.

My poems and words labeled American treason.

My ancestors sacrificed freedom, limbs, blood, sweat and tears.

In the South picking cotton,

Tending the plantations.

Countless men and women raped all year round 4 seasons.

For our master’s on a land that was never his,

But stolen natives massacred no more whips, chains and shackles

But my brothers and sister still live in fear.
