I’m just an icon living trying to reclaim everything in history they stole from us,

In me you should put your trust.

8 years of hope gave us more dreams than selling dope,

A bittersweet ending had to watch my people’s face and faith crumble.

Everyday on ABC, CBS, NBC news hearing their elaborate ruse overshadow the boys in blue,

Blood lust every occasion they fear for their lives,

No evasive maneuvers just a lot of gun busts.

Passionate with this message I won’t mumble,

Obama ran the board and passed the torch so I won’t stumble,

AP known to be the best but would fumble to the end with the system I’ll rumble.
