It’s scary being Black walking and driving down the street,

Afraid to be seen because the color on the top of your hand.

It was never distributed just a myth,

Our promise diluted for building and demanding equality of this land.

I’ mma proud father,

But scared not knowing if my son would come home to raise him from a boy to a man.

We get up protest, speak, write poetry but is that all we can?

Killing my culture and hue because you feared your life with no conviction,

Well American law is scam.
