Many complain that there are not enough resources within the Black community, but that’s only because our community has been doing a very poor job in supporting Black businesses. Purposely Awakened brings awareness to those businesses that you might have not heard about. Also, with the increased number of people shopping online, you can support a Black business from wherever you are at and do not need to be in the same city as that business in order to support it.
