The world we live in is changing, especially with the current president in office. In prior times, most were more optimistic about job security, but now the uncertainty regarding the job market is higher than ever. This is why it is crucial to have a backup plan, also better known as another source of income from a side or full-time business. 

Owning your own business is by no means no easy fleet; however, when you have business coaches and mentors to assist you in your venture, as well as a trusted and dedicated team of individuals who believe in your vision, it makes things run more smoothly. 

Business consultant and strategist, Violeta Potter, can be that mentor for you. She specifically specializes in assisting women of color create sustainable opportunities for success through business and entrepreneurship to help lead to racial and gender equality because as we all know women are treated as an inferior when it comes to men in the workplace. 

In a recent interview with Mrs. Potter, we discussed her vision and mission behind her brand, the barriers that need to be broken in our places of employment and current immigration crisis that is happening before our eyes with the children who are being separated from their parents.
